5 Stars: Outstanding – A truly exceptional book that I couldn’t put down. A real page-turner from start to finish.
4 Stars: Great – A fantastic book with a strong story, characters, or writing, but it may have had a minor issue or two that stopped it from being perfect.
3 Stars: Good – A generally enjoyable book with some solid elements, though it may have a few flaws or pacing issues. If I give a book three stars, I consider it worth reading.
*I don't rate books I don't enjoy because I understand the immense effort that goes into writing a book, and I don't want to discourage the author. At the same time, I strive to be honest with readers and only share reviews for books I believe are worth reading.
*I stick to clean books as much as possible, but once in a while a story surprises me with a scene or element that edges past my usual boundaries. When that happens, I always note it in the review so you’ll know what to expect before diving in.
